Scarves

Today’s topic will be about scarves and the perfect outfit to wear them with. We all know that scarves are the perfect accessory and can also make or break your outfit. The best part about wearing scarves is that you can dress them up or dress them down to fit the occasion.

Silk and Skinny- wear a silk scarf with skinny jeans. This allows you to take a simple top and some skinny jeans and look more sophisticated by adding a silk scarf some pumps or boots, a purse and some hoop earrings. You can also adjust your look by the way you wear your scarf. You can wear it on your head or neck or wear it as a belt. Also there are many different ways to tie a scarf or just let it hang.

Wool scarves and tight sweaters- this outfit is more ideal for the wintertime seeing as wool scarves in the summer would be unbearable and you will look ridiculous. When you wear a bulky wool scarf you need to make sure that your sweater is tight that way you don’t look as if you are drowning in your clothes.

Evening Events- scarves for evening events would be a scarf that has beads and sequins that gives a glittery affect. This will give your outfit that elegance you might be looking for. Try to match this scarf with another glittery accessory such as a handbag.

Scarves with Coats and Jackets- some of us do not own a lot of coats and jackets. Scarves are the perfect way to get many different looks with the same coat or jacket. Tie scarf around your neck and have hanging on top of your coat. This technique will not only keep you warm but it will have you looking great!

When matching a scarf to your outfit make sure to dress your strengths and make sue your outfit compliments your body type and skin color. Also dress warm colors with cooler colors to get the perfect look.

Blazers and Online shopping

You might already know that fashion comes with a price. I wish we could walk into a department store see something on the rack that we love and just own it, but unfortunately that is not how it works so we have to try to get more for our money. I personally love to shop online. Here are some pros and cons to online shopping. Online shopping requires paying for shipping so while you might think you spent less you might have actually paid more for the same item you could have purchased in person. Also when you buy things online you are not able to try things on to see how they look or if they even fit, and we all know that size vary with different items. One other con to online shopping is that you are not able to have that item right away depending on where the product is coming from and if you pay extra you might not even receive that item for three to four weeks. Fortunately online prices are usually a lot cheaper, if you don’t mind the wait you could buy clothes from different countries for a cheaper price and you never have to leave your home. Online shopping allows you to multi-task so your not taking as much time out of your day and if you live in a small town where there are not a lot of variety, online shopping could be the only thing between you having your own style and running into people with the same clothes as you. Don’t worry if I haven’t sold you on online shopping, I will let you in on the best deals online as well as in store.

To complete your look, add a long necklace, some dangling earrings and a few bracelets. Let your hair down and add some fierce make-up.

Casual Dress: Yes, you can even wear a blazer casually. Pick out your favorite color blazer wear a loose blouse underneath and some jeans or jean shorts then add your favorite pair of sandals. This look will work great with your hair up or down it doesn’t really matter. Add some stud earrings and light make-up and your ready for the day.
